WESTFIELD – Wilma Lee (Brooks) Williams, 71, (1952-2024) wife of the late Ernest Williams died unexpectedly on May 25th, 2024, surrounded by her nephew, Charles E. Williams, III, who she considered like her son, and her niece Susan Bonaquisti and Mary Jo Solivan.
Wilma was born on November 13th, 1952 in Colchester, Vermont the daughter of the late David G. and Edna M. (Shores) Brooks. Wilma lived in Westfield for 55 years and worked for the Union News and Westfield News for 45 years. Wilma had a big heart and cared deeply for people. She has left an abundance of memories with her nephew Charles E. Williams, III. She also leaves her nephew Eric J. Williams and her “Baby Girl” Jenna, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Wilma was predeceased by her husband Ernest Williams and subsequent lifetime partner Feremin Zayas.
