Raymond E. Fisk

Raymond Fisk[2]WESTFIELD – Raymond Elliott Fisk, 99, died Friday, November 15, 2013 at Noble Hospital in Westfield. Born in Huntington, MA on July 24, 1914, he was the eldest son of the late Raymond H. Fisk and Lillian A. (Moore) Fisk.
Raymond lived most of his life in Huntington, with the last few years in Worthington and Westfield. He and his brother Gordon founded Fisk Motor Sales in Huntington, a General Motors Dealership which they owned and operated from 1946 to 1986. A graduate of Worcester Trade School, Ray was a tool maker during WWII. He was a member of the Auto Dealers Association, the Blandford Fox Club and a Corporator for 38 years at Woronoco Bank. A licensed private pilot since 1932, Ray loved to fly.  Raymond enjoyed fishing at his camp at Lake Seymour, VT, fox hunting and reminiscing about his days as a pilot. Over the years, he and Bonnie became avid fans of UConn Women’s Basketball.
Raymond was predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Bonnie E. (King) Fisk who passed away February 8, 2012. He leaves a daughter, Bonnie Rae Howland of South Riding, VA; four brothers, Gordon E. Fisk of Huntington, Linwood H. Fisk of Huntington, Bradford P. Fisk of Middlefield and Wayne Fisk of Worthington; three grandchildren, Daniel R. Mirolli of Virginia, Susan E. Stelmack of Oregon and Karen T. Donaldson of Virginia and two great-grandchildren, Madeline and Morgan Mirolli; his sister-in- laws and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his three brothers, Robert H., Wilbert J., and Stuart M. Fisk and two sisters, Edna L. Underwood and Elaine G. Hadley. A loving and gentle man, Raymond will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kingra of Westfield, the nurses at Noble Hospital and the staff at Armbrook Village for their care and kindness.
There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Raymond’s life on Sunday, November 24, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Blackburn Inn, Route 112, Worthington, MA.
