Casimir P. Goralczyk

WESTFIELD- Casimir P “Cazzie” Goralczyk, 62, passed away February 19, 2016 in Colorado. Cazzie came to this country with his family when he was 10 years old. Cazzie graduated from Westfield High School in 1973. He played baseball, football, and basketball. He excelled in all three. Cazzie attended and played football for Western Connecticut State University. He eventually found his way to Aspen. Cazzie was a ski instructor on Aspen Mountain for twenty plus years, which he thoroughly enjoyed. As most others in the seventies, Cazzie worked at other jobs such as landscaping, concrete work, and carpentry, which he also excelled at. He loved the great outdoors and all it had to offer; camping, fishing, jeeping, boating, but mostly skiing.
Cazzie is survived by his sister, Alina Wrzosek and her husband Jessie of Port St Lucie, FL; two brothers, Christopher Goralczyk and his wife Maria of Feeding Hills, and Jerry Goralczyk and his wife Peggy of Montgomery; his nieces and nephews, Peter, Andrea, Gina, Christopher, Alex, and Gabrielle; along with his grandniece Sara and grandnephew Aidan. Cazzie also leaves behind in Aspen, CO his best friends Peter Fioroni and his wife Cindy who were like a brother and sister to him. He was predeceased by his mother and father. He will be greatly missed by all those who loved him dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday April 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, Elm St. Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery, both in Westfield. The Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, Westfield, is in charge of arrangements.
