WESTFIELD: Ricardo Torres, 44, (1971-2016) passe
d away suddenly on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Noble Hospital. He was born in Westfield, MA to the late Edicta Torres. He worked in shipping and receiving for many years at Pioneer Cold. Ricky had a contagious laugh and smile which could be heard while he enjoyed camping, music festivals, and barbeques with family and friends. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his sister Carmen Torres and three brothers, Isaac Vazquez, Solomon Ortiz and Ruben Vazquez. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Karina Bay Torres and son Nathan Torres; his brother, Jose Alfredo Rosario, his sisters, Hilda Colon, Mickey Jimenez and Ana Maria Vazquez, all of Westfield and will be missed by his many beloved nephews and nieces, many aunts and uncles, cousins and many friends. Wilfredo Rosario, who raised him, and his longtime girlfriend Pam Dean. Ricky’s funeral will be held on Friday at 10AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4-7PM in the funeral home.
