WESTFIELD – Mary C. (Jansen) Arena, 63, (1956-2020) passed away at home on April 8, 2020. She was born in Miami, FL to the late Elmer and Charlene (Baldwin) Jansen. Mary was a Registered Nurse and worked at the Governor’s Center Nursing Home in Westfield. She loved going to the ocean, traveling to Maine, going camping and fishing, working in her garden, and having cook outs. She also enjoyed cooking, baking crocheting and watching Hallmark Christmas movies. Mostly she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren, they were her life. Sadly, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband Guy “Gary” Arena on March 23, 2019 and a brother Raymond Jansen. Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Angela Sherry and her husband Dan of Westfield, her adored grandchildren, Adelina and Cole Sherry, her siblings, David Jansen and his wife Michelle of Alva, FL, Joseph Jansen and his wife Susan of St. Augustine, FL, Michael Jansen of Florida Keys, William Jansen and his wife Kathy of Dexter, ME, Nina Garrett of Lehigh Acres, FL and Dolores Jansen Coleman and her husband Dawayne of New Mexico. All services are private and a memorial service will be planned for a later date.
