Emergency response and crime report

9: 37 a.m.: stolen motor vehicle recovered, 9 West School St., Chicopee police detective requesting an officer to the above address and check to see if there is a 2001 Buick present, vehicle was reported stolen by a car rental company, subject , who listed residence as that location, has yet to make a payment and has filed a stolen motor vehicle report, officer reports locating the Buick which was towed to police impound facility;
3:07 p.m.: vandalism, 342 Southwick Road, caller reports motor vehicle tire damaged, officer reports tire rim defective;
6:46 p.m.: assist citizen, East Mountain Road at Springfield Road, caller reports disabled motorist, motorist was attempting to turn vehicle around and because stuck in a muddy area, officer requested tow truck to extricate vehicle, services rendered;
7: p.m.: motor vehicle accident, area of intersection of Pochassic Road and Pinewood Lane, caller reports motor vehicle roll-over accident, dual police and fire response, officer report operator lost control of vehicle which went off the pavement and rolled over on the soft shoulder, no injuries, vehicle towed from scene.
6:47 a.m.: suspicious activity, Noble Hospital Emergency Department, staff member reports a man reporting that he was injured in an ATV accident, but has no apparent injuries, officer reports speaking with the ER staff who stated that the man had come to the hospital in December using a different name, officer spoke with the man who initially provides a false name, man was advised “to think long and hard” because there was no documentation for the name he initially provided, the man subsequently provided a name and date of birth which the officer confirmed through a data search, subject admitted he was attempting to procure pain medication, incident remains under investigation by detective bureau, criminal complaint for using false identification to procure narcotics pending;
7:23 a.m.: breaking and entering, 178 Llewellyn Drive, caller reports door of shed forced open, but nothing appears to be missing, information taken.
