Emergency response and crime report

1:56 a.m.: motor vehicle theft, Elm Street, caller reports that his vehicle was stolen, officer reports that missing vehicle was located in a nearby parking lot, services rendered;
5:43 a.m.: vandalism to motor vehicle, 12 Hanover St., caller reports that the rear window of a 2001 Ford was shattered, officer reports and no damage was observed to several other vehicle parked in that lot, information taken.
12:56 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, arrest, Franklin Street, officer reports motor vehicle being operated at 53 miles an hour in a 35 MPH zone, Liam L. Wright, 38, of 741 Western Avenue charged with operating a motor vehicle after the suspension of his license and speeding, 2011 Chevrolet towed from scene;
2:03 p.m.: motor vehicle accident, Little River Road, several calls received for a two-vehicle collision in the area of the Country Store, dual police and fire response, officer reports airbag deployed, officer reports no ambulance transport required, requesting two tow truck to remove damaged vehicles;
2:22 p.m.: breaking and entering, 73-75 Mechanic St., Health Department code enforcement officer requesting a patrol officer to investigate apparent break in of a vacant apartment, officer reports property owner notified and came to that location to inspect building, rear door kicked open but no further damage inside building;
4:32 p.m.: larceny, Jefferson Street, citizen came to station to report the theft of cash and credit cards, officer reports property was taken from citizen’s unlocked motor vehicle;
4:38 p.m.: identity theft, King St., citizen came to station to report credit card information was fraudulently used to make online purchases totaling $163.40, officer reports credit card in possession of reporting party and may have been cloned at some time;
10:14 p.m.: trespassing, arrest, 50 Southampton Road, caller reports male and female in residence next door are arguing once again and that the walls are shaking, several officers dispatched to residence which was scene of earlier disturbance this week which resulted in the arrest of both a male and female resident, officers knocked on the front door which was opened by the man, who has an active trespass notice for that location, man slammed the door and fled through the apartment and out the rear door where another officer was waiting, male was apprehended after a short chase across Southampton Road, Jonathan L. Westbrook, 25, of 76 Davis Road, Southwick charged with trespass and resisting arrest.
