James T. Longey, 46, of 7 Free St., was released on his personal recognizance pending a December 2 hearing after being arraigned on charges of two counts of false/silent 911 call and two counts of false crime report, brought by Westfield police.
Mateusz P. Rybak, 28, of 84 Woodsong Road, was found not guilty by a jury on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, brought by Westfield police.
