8:43 a.m.: motor vehicle theft, Meadow Village Apartments, 34 Meadow St., party reported that her 1997 Honda Accord was stolen overnight from her father’s residence;
11:39 a.m.: found property, Tavern Restaurant, 2 Broad St., party reported finding a Massachusetts driver’s license, police attempted to locate owner;
12:21 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, McDonald’s, 182 N. Elm St., Ricardo R. Torres, 44, of 105 Union St., arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended;
7:47 p.m.: accident, 33 Russellville Road at 359 Montgomery Road, patient refused transport, two vehicles towed;
7:50 p.m.: vandalism, Elm Motel, 50 Russell Road, caller reported that a man who used to work for the motel came up to the Elm Motel office window and threw a rock at the window, shattering it, suspect took off on foot;
9:43 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, 124 Meadow St. at 4 William St. verbal warning issued;
10:40 p.m.: arrest, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington St., party came into police department to find out why police were looking for him, Christian Soto, 29, of no known address, arrested on an outstanding warrant;
10:44 p.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Mechanic St., resident reported coming home to find her door open and her dog missing.
