WESTFIELD: Dario H Masciadrelli, 91 of Westfield, MA, entered into eternal life on November 30, 2015 at the Genesis Healthcare Center. He was born to the late Guiseppi and Paolina Masciadrelli on August 1, 1924.
A graduate of Westfield Trade School, Dario went on to serve in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Canbrerra in the South Pacific during WWII. He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Italian Fraternal Society, both in Westfield.
He leaves his loving wife of 63 years, Lorraine C (Lamoureux), and his sons Kevin and Brian and his wife Jennifer; his brother Enzo and his wife Rita; and his sisters-in-law Nellie and Loretta Masciadrelli.
Besides his parents, Dario was predeceased by his son Alan D., his sister Eugenia, and by his brothers Joseph and his wife Victoria, Paul, and Dante; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Dario will take place Friday December 4, 2015 at 9 am from the Robert E Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St (Rt 20). A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am in Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church, Holyoke Rd. Burial will follow in St Mary’s Cemetery, all in Westfield. Calling hours will be Thursday from 4-7 pm.
