Major crime and incident report
Tuesday, November 24, 2015
4:10 a.m.:
burglary/breaking and entering, Madison Street, caller reported someone broke into his garage, a window was smashed out and two motorcycles were stolen;
6:38 a.m.: suspicious, Jefferson Street, officers found ten vehicles parked in the old ZZ Machine Shop which has been vacant for several years, none of the vehicles were listed as stolen, possibly abandoned, under investigation;
7:03 a.m.: accident, Camfour, Inc., 65 Westfield Industrial Park Road, 2014 Subaru and 2006 Volkswagen Jetta (towed), no injuries;
10:22 a.m.: property found, near Munger Hill School crosswalk, Steiger Drive, two duffle bags filled with men’s clothing found by police in the bushes along the walkway;
12:44 p.m.: accident, 2071 E. Mountain Road at 1029 North Road, 2004 Ford Escape (towed) and 2015 Jeep Renegade (towed), one transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
1:58 p.m.: accident, 2008 Honda Accord (towed) and 2002 Volkswagen Jetta (towed), one transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
2:28 p.m.: shoplifting, Stop & Shop Supermarket, 57 Main St., manager reported $105 worth of product was shoplifted on November 9;
4:40 p.m.: shoplifting, Big Y Supermarket, 1 E. Silver St., manager reported video footage caught a woman stealing $100 worth of white strips on November 10;
5:16 p.m.: accident, Cumberland Farms, 1134 Southampton Road, 2010 Toyota Corolla (towed) and 2001 Hyundai (towed), one transported to Baystate Medical Center and one transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
6:22 p.m.: drug/narcotic violation, 4 Sackett St. at 41 Orange St., minor arrested on charges of distributing Class A (D.B.R.O.) drug and possession to distribute Class A (D.B.R.O.) drug;
9:51 p.m.: suspicious person, Tobacco Barn, 49 Elm St., Jonathan O. Alvarez, 20 of 53 Elm St., arrested on an outstanding warrant.
