WESTFIELD: Susan A. Burkott-Lucier, 45, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, January 7, 2016. She was born in Westfield to Brent and Donna (Fedora) Burkott and was a graduate of Westfield High School and UMASS Amherst. Susan was employed by the Northampton Schools as a teacher at Jackson Street School. She loved to travel and work in her garden. She leaves behind her heartbroken family, her beloved husband, Timothy A. Lucier of East Longmeadow, her loving parents, Brent and Donna (Fedora) Burkott of Westfield, her brother, Jeffrey F. Burkott and his wife Erica Johnson of Westfield, her nephew, William Burkott and also leaves behind her aunts, uncles and cousins. Susan’s family would like to thank Dr. Philip Glynn at Mercy Hospital and Cindy and Tracy for their wonderful care given to Susan. All services are private.
