WESTFIELD: David L. Valente, 67, passed away on March 21, 2016 in Noble Hospital. He was born in Westfield to the late Louis and Shirley (Allen) Valente. David was employed as a fuel truck driver for many years. He was a former member of the Eagles in Westfield, he enjoyed bowling, cars, motorcycles, and wrestling. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Gertrude (Sullivan) Valente of Westfield, his four loving children, Brenda Valente and her husband Clinton of Beckett, Gina Auclair of Westfield, Anthony Valente and his wife Lisa of Russell, Brian Valente of Westfield and Scott Rice of Southwick, his sister Susan Valente of Holland and five cherished grandchildren, Joslin, Cassie, Jacob, Gabrielle and Anthony, Jr. A Funeral Home Service will be held on Friday at 8PM at Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA.
