Joyce E. (Humason) Meacham, 76, passed away on September 2, 2016 at Wingate at West Springfield. She was born in Westfield, MA to the

late Edward and Edna (LaFogg) Humason and was a graduate of Westfield High School. Joyce was a Hilltown Brownie Leader, a member of the hand bell choir and bible school teacher at Central Baptist Church, loved her cats and she enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting and knitting. She will be remembered for her apple squares, peanut butter balls and apple chip cake. Joyce was predeceased by her husband Frank W. Meacham in 2009 and is survived by her children, Richard F. Meacham of Cambridge, N.Y., Patricia J. Crepeau of Rockland, ME, Cynthia L. Ponce, also of Rockland, ME, Darlene L. “Lynn” Meacham of Russell and Tasha Stone of Huntington, her brothers, Ronald E. Humason of Granville and Donald Humason of Westfield, her sisters, Nancy Stone and Darlene Biggs, both of Westfield, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held for Joyce and her husband Frank on Friday, September 9, at 2PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield. A visiting hour will precede the service from 1-2PM in the funeral home. Donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Westfield Homeless Cat Project, 1124 East Mountain Rd.
