2:19 a.m.: Disturbance, Arnold Street. Police received a report of a physical altercation at the construction site for the bus stop. According to the report, there were no weapons used but there were approximately four to five males involved. Police arrived and eventually arrested Jason D. Johnson, 34, of Westfield, and charged him with disorderly conduct and assault and battery.
8:39 a.m.: Found property, Holyoke Road. Police reported that a dirt bike was found behind a home on Holyoke Road, reportedly covered with sticks and leaves. The bike matched the description of one stolen from a home the week prior. No suspects at this time.
4:08 p.m.: Disturbance, Taylor Avenue. Police responded to a report of someone being headbutted following a disturbance. The victim was reportedly a landlord attempting to collect rent from a tenant. The victim did not press charges and no arrests were made.
8 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation, Southampton Road. Police reported that an officer attempted to stop an older model black Honda after it was found speeding. The vehicle had no lights on and continued accelerating, reaching speeds in excess to 80 MPH. Police eventually cancelled chase due to safety and Southampton and Holyoke Police were notified. No suspects since license plate could not be processed.
