Westfield – Richard H. Dazelle, Jr., 52, of Westfield died Thursday with his wife by his side. He was born in Westfield on February 2, 1964 the son of Richard Dazelle and the late Alice (Burt) Dazelle. Richard was an Army veteran and was employed as a Foreman at Independent Roofing Co. for thirty years. He is survived by his loving wife of eighteen years,Wendy (Whitaker) Dazelle, two sons,Richard and Daniel both of Westfield, two daughters, Ellisha Dazelle, and Julie and her husband Jeff James, all of Westfield, a step-son, Christopher Whitaker of Hadley, his father Richard Sr., of Florida, a brother Robert Dazelle and his wife Mary Lou of Westfield,two sisters, Debbie Seibold and her husband Kenny and Patricia Mulville and her husband Brian, all of Westfield. Richard also leaves his two loving grandchildren, Brayden Dazelle and Mason James, and several nieces and nephews and brother and sister in-laws, and his mother-in-law Edith Whitaker and her late husband Rodney of Westfield. His funeral with U.S. Army military honors will be held at 4pm on Saturday at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service 76 Broad St., Westfield.
