Carol Ellinger, 37, was released on personal recognizance pending a March 14 hearing after being arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a license suspended—subsequent offense, and speeding in violation of special regulation, brought by Southwick Police, in addition to operating a motor vehicle with a registration suspended, uninsured motor vehicle and speeding in violation of special regulation, brought by Agawam Police.
Kenneth D. Garrett, 45, of 44 Forest Ave., Westfield, received a suspended 18-month sentence to House of Corrections after pleading guilty to one count of violating an abuse prevention order. Two additional charges of violating an abuse prevention order and a charge of trespassing were not prosecuted. Both charges brought by Westfield Police.
