11:22 a.m.: Accident, Southampton Road and Egleston Road. Police received a report for a three-vehicle accident involving a tractor trailer, a 2006 Dodge Ram 250 and a 2013 Kia Sportage. Initially, according to the report police were told that there were no injuries. However, upon police arrival one person was noted as injured. Westfield Fire paramedics responded to the scene via ambulance and transported the injured party to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. All three vehicles also needed to be towed from the scene.
4:32 p.m.: Accident, Franklin Street and Smith Avenue. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a Mercedes Sprinter van and a 2015 Chevrolet Trax. Police reported no injuries and no tow trucks needed.
