8:03 a.m.: Accident, Conner Avenue. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a city vehicle and a 2001 Dodge Ram, which was initially reported as a hit-and-run. According to the police report, the city vehicle–which was allegedly struck by the other vehicle’s radio antenna and broke a door mirror–followed the second vehicle to a parking lot. Furthermore, the police report also stated that the city vehicle was stopped and collecting trash on Conner Avenue when the other vehicle attempted to pass it, which police alleged was the cause of the accident.
1:42 p.m.: Accident, Beveridge Boulevard and Southwick Road. Police received a report for a two-vehicle crash involving a 1987 Buick Century and a 2012 Honda Accord. Initially, it was reported that there were no injuries and both drivers were out of their vehicles. However, it was later reported in the police report that one person was complaining of neck pain. Westfield Fire paramedics responded via ambulance and transported one to Baystate Noble Hospital.
6:44 p.m.: Accident, Elm Street. Police received a report for a two-vehicle crash involving a 2010 Ford Mustang and a 2004 Acura SE. No injuries, no airbags deployed and the vehicles were able to pull off to the side of the road, according to the report.
8:11 p.m.: Vandalism motor vehicle, East Main Street. Police received a report of a vehicle that reportedly had its tires slashed in a parking lot of a restaurant. Police reported that they are investigating.
