WESTFIELD – As November is National Home Health Care & Hospice Month, Rep. Doanald Humason assisted Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services in raising awareness of assistances provided through visiting nurse associations and home health agencies by accompanying their staff on a scheduled visit to a patient home.
“This month is a celebration of the nurses, therapists, aides and caregivers that serve our elderly and infirm and I am pleased to be a part of saying ‘thank you’ to that group,” said Rep. Humason.
“We are extremely proud of our staff and their superb care they give which enables patients to remain in the most comfortable and familiar setting: their own homes,” said David M. Mol, President and CEO of the Agency. “Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services is honored to help patients remain independent and close to their loved ones.”

Rep. Humason and Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice Services joined their counterparts across the state to raise awareness of home health services that help keep people healthy and independent. The nearly 200 member agencies of the Home Care Alliance provide over 5 million home care visits each year to approximately 175,000 elderly, mentally ill and otherwise infirm Massachusetts residents.
