12:50 a.m.: Burglary/breaking and entering and arrest, Elm Street. Police received a report of a person that was possibly in his 20s that was reportedly in a location that may have been broken into. The person reporting the incident also reported that the person had allegedly threatened them. However, nothing was reported stolen. The suspect allegedly fled the scene on foot but police eventually caught up with him. Police arrested Zachary Finn, 21, of Fitchburg, and charged him with trespassing.

10:33 a.m.: Accident, Shaker Road and Laro Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2015 Toyota Corolla and a 2012 Dodge Ram 250. No injuries were reported and no tow trucks were requested.

6:34 p.m.: Disturbance, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police received a report of an alleged road rage incident inside the parking lot of Walmart. According to the report, one party got out of their vehicle and allegedly began screaming at the other, then reportedly punched the vehicle of the person reporting. Police reported that the vehicle left the scene but the driver was reportedly eventually charged.

7:51 p.m.: Accident, hit-and-run, Allen Avenue. Police received a report of a vehicle that had allegedly struck a parked vehicle. The suspect vehicle was reported to police along with a license plate, and police reported that the person driving was eventually cited.

8:47 p.m.: Accident, North Elm Street and Arch Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2005 Toyota Scion and a 2015 Volkswagen Passat. Police reported no injuries and no tow trucks requested.

10:24 p.m.: Traffic or motor vehicle complaint and arrest, East Main Street. Police received a report of a “possibly intoxicated driver” who allegedly struck a guardrail and seen going over double yellow lines, heading toward Agawam. Police found the vehicle and the driver, Carl J. Morin, 35, of East Longmeadow, had allegedly admitted to drinking alcohol to police. Police reported that the driver also allegedly had an odor of alcohol and had open beer in the vehicle, and Morin had allegedly refused a field sobriety test. Police arrested Morin and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, possession of open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

10:38 p.m.: Attempted breaking and entering, Casimir Street. Police received a report from a resident who alleged that someone attempted to break into their apartment about 30 minutes prior to the report. Police were told that someone allegedly attempted to push up the bedroom screen to open her window. However, no entry was made. Police reported foot prints in the area and are investigating.
