SOUTHWICK – People from around the local area came with their tractors and put them on display for the 3rd Annual Southwick Tractor Rally Saturday at the Southwick DPW (Department of Public Works) parking lot.
Although the weather wasn’t the best, people were still able to have a great experience.

“We had people doing demonstrations in the parking lot, we had fun,” said Dennis Clark, who is a member of the Southwick Agricultural Commission.
The event, hosted by the Southwick Agricultural Commission, awarded certificates and prizes for first, second, and third place and to those who had the best tractor pull
Clark said that there was also plenty to do for the whole family. There was food on hand as well as live music. There were also raffle prizes, local vendors, and an antique farm tool exhibit.
Having the tractor rally at the DPW appeared to be a good choice by the Agricultural Commission.
“It was a great spot for it, ideal location for it,” said Clark.
