NOTE: The majority of incidents reported by police during this day were medical incidents
11:05 a.m.: Medical emergency, Broad Street and Avery Street. Police received a report of someone marching in the parade who had reportedly “fell into a pipe in the ground” that did not have a cover, causing an injury to their leg. Westfield Fire paramedics transported the person to Baystate Noble Hospital for treatment via ambulance and the Department of Public Works was notified.
