Westfield – Sandra E. (Smith) Kriesak, 77, (1940-2017) passed away at her home on June 3, 2017, after a two years battle with cancer. She was the daughter of the late Stanley J. Smith and Florys (Williston) Smith. She was born and raised in Huntington, MA and graduated valedictorian of her class at Huntington High School. She went on to work at the former O’Connor Lumber for 34 years, then for Paul S. Allen P.A. and retired from Olszewski & Liptak CPA’s. She was a quiet person who enjoyed reading, sewing, painting, crocheting, watching NASCAR races and trips to Vermont. Besides her parents, she was predecease by her brothers Robert A. and Gary C., both of Huntington, MA. She is survived by her husband or more than 44 years, William F., her sister in laws, Peggy (Ron) Musterait of Andover, MA, Marilyn (David) Nimerowski of Westfield, her brother in law, James (Yvonne) Kriesak of Westfield, her cousin Gregory Smith of Montgomery, MA and many nieces and nephews. We would like to give our thanks to Dr. Timothy Johnson, all nurses at the Baystate Noble Oncology Unit. Also the nurses at Sr. Caritas Cancer Center. A very special thanks for the support from the staff at Baystate Visiting Nurse and Hospice mostly to Sharon, Rebecca and Carrie for their hospice care. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA. Visiting hours will precede the service from 9-11AM in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baystate Noble Oncology Unit or to the Baystate Noble Visiting Nurse and Hospice services to benefit the devoted staff of each of these. www.firtionadams.com
