8:30 a.m.: Accident, Union Avenue. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2012 Honda Civic and a 2014 Ford Explorer were involved. No injuries reported and no tow trucks requested.
11:20 a.m.: Accident, Falcon Drive and Progress Avenue. Police received a report of an accident. A 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and a tractor-trailer. One tow truck requested but no injuries reported.
3:26 p.m.: Accident, East Silver Street and Lindbergh Boulevard. Police received a report of a tractor-trailer and a city dump truck that were involved in an accident. No injuries reported and no tow truck requested.
4:34 p.m.: Accident, Granville Road. Police received a report of an accident. A 2002 Ford Taurus and a 2005 GMC Sierra were involved. No injuries reported but one tow truck requested.
5:55 p.m.: Accident, East Silver Street. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2006 Ford F150 and a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze were involved. No injuries reported and no tow truck requested.
6:08 p.m.: Arrest, Meadow Street. Police reported that an arrest was made in relation to an alleged assault that occurred on Dec. 16. Police arrested Andrew R. McGuire, 22, of Springfield, and charged him with assault and battery with serious bodily injury, as well as on three arrest warrants.
