Patrick J. Ryan, 39, of Westfield, received time served direct after pleading guilty to a charge of resist arrest, and was placed on probation until April 6, 2018, with fees assessed, after pleading guilty to a charge of assault and battery on police officer, charges brought by Westfield Police. Ryan also received one-year sentence to House of Corrections, suspended with probation to Jan. 8, 2019, with fees assessed, after pleading guilty to distribute class A drug, while a charge of intimidate witness/juror/police/court official was dismissed nolle prosequi, charges brought by State Police Hampden County District Attorney Unit.
Devondric D. Law, 21, of 132 Country Club Blvd., Apt. 310, Worcester, had three charges of larceny over $250 and one charge of larceny under $250 dismissed nolle prosequi, brought by Westfield State university Police.
Matthew B. Gray, 33, of 134 Westwood Dr., West Springfield, had a charge of operating under influence of liquor or .08 percent admission to sufficient facts found but continued without a finding until Jan. 8, 2019, with fees assessed, while a charge of negligent operation of motor vehicle was dismissed nolle prosequi and a charge of motor vehicle lights violation found not responsible, brought by Westfield Police.
