Major crime and incident report

4:34 p.m.: Burglary/breaking-and-entering, Little River Road. Police received a report of a home that was possibly broken into at some point between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Forcible entry was reported through the front door, and items reported missing included jewelry and video games. The incident is under investigation.
6:24 p.m.: Accident, South Maple Street. Police received a report of a car accident. A 2017 Chevrolet Cruze and a1991 Ford Thunderbird were involved. No injuries reported but two tow trucks were requested.
