9:48 a.m.: animal complaint, Brenda Drive, a caller reports taking custody of a stray chocolate Labrador retriever dog, the responding animal control officer reports the dog was transported to the Westfield Animal Shelter;
12:07 p.m.: disturbance, Little River Road, a caller reports he returned to his home to find several pickup trucks there and one of the operators threatened him, the responding officer reports he found that the visitors were at the residence to help the caller’s former girlfriend move out, the officer reports that no physical contact occurred and the woman left with her friends;
1:38 p.m.: disturbance, Lincoln Street, a caller reports that neighbors are attempting to provoke him, the responding officer reports that the caller said that the provocations are due to an ongoing legal dispute, the man did not ask for any police action but wants the incident documented;
2:09 p.m.: larceny, WalMart, 141 Springfield Road, a caller reports shoplifters left with merchandise, the responding officer reports store staff said that two male parties believed to have stolen merchandise refused to produce a receipt when challenged and left the store, the officer reports that their vehicle was identified and the owner said that his son was using the vehicle, the investigation is ongoing;
4:13 p.m.: disturbance, Lincoln Street, a caller reports a loud college aged party, the responding officer reports about 100 revelers were outside the residence and some were on the roof, the officer reports that the party host was cooperative and agreed to disperse the party, one person seen leaving the party while carrying an open container of beer was stopped and issued a city ordinance violation citation for possession of an open container of alcohol in public.
