WESTFIELD – Matthew Girouard 50, of Westfield died Wednesday August 22, 2018 in his home. He was born in Northampton, MA on July 10, 1968. Matthew was the son of Andre and Marcia Buczala Girouard and grew up in Huntington, attended Huntington Schools and was a 1986 graduate of Gateway Regional High School. He was a 20 year resident of Westfield and was employed by Lane Construction, and previously worked 30 years for Co-op EBTEC of Agawam. He was married in 1996 to the former Mary Flagg Giourard who died in 2014.
Matthew is survived by his parents Andre and Marcia of Huntington, and many aunts,uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be Monday August 27, 2018 from 4pm to 7pm at the Mitchell Funeral Home,15 Park Street, Easthampton. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
