12:53 a.m.: larceny, Valley View Drive, a resident came to the station to report that $1,000 was stolen from her home by a guest, the responding officer reports that the woman identified a suspect but said that she does not want to pursue an investigation;
2:03 a.m.: larceny, South Maple Street, a caller reports she was in the laundry room at her apartment complex and saw that two of the laundry machines had been broken into, the responding officer reports a screwdriver found at the scene was seized as evidence and the property management personnel were advised;
6:57 a.m.: animal complaint, Southwood Acres, 342 Southwick Road, multiple callers report two dog are fighting and their handlers appear to be involved with each other, the responding officer reports that the two dogs got into a fight and neither handler was able to separate them, one was bitten while trying, the other handler resorted to the use of Mace and the bitten handler was inadvertently sprayed with the chemical irritant, the handler who was bitten was transported by Westfield Fire Department ambulance to Baystate Nobel Hospital and animal control officers were notified;
9:47 a.m.: larceny, Court Street, a resident came to the station to report that a registration plate was stolen from his vehicle, the responding officer reports the victim did not know when or where the plate became missing;
10:06 a.m.: breaking and entering, Springdale Road, a caller reports her wallet was stolen from her vehicle and an attempt was made to use her credit card, the responding officer reports the vehicle was not locked;
11:08 a.m.: breaking and entering, Holyoke Road, a caller reports her wallet was stolen from her vehicle and an attempt was made to use her credit card, the responding officer reports the vehicle was not locked;
1:34 p.m.: larceny, Munger Hill School, 33 Mallard Lane, the school principal reports the school’s sign was stolen, the responding officer reports the sign was located on Big Wood Drive and a school department representative was notified to go get it;
5:59 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating with faulty lights and stopped the car, the operator’s license was found to have been revoked as an habitual traffic offender, Brian A. Annette, 31, of 134 Union St., Apt. 79, Westfield, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked as a habitual traffic offender (a subsequent offense) and a motor vehicle lights violation.
