10:54 a.m.: fire, Massachusetts Turnpike, State Police request assistance with a grass fire on the westbound side of the turnpike prior to the Blandford rest area, the responding firefighters report the trooper had knocked down the fire before they arrived and they soaked the area to ensure no fire rekindled;
5:29 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Franklin Street, State Police reports an eastbound vehicle is operating erratically, the vehicle was stopped and the operator was found to be intoxicated, the man resisted efforts too emplace handcuffs and struggled with the officer, Steven J. Bull, 35, of 42 Gelinas Drive, Chicopee, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and a marked lanes violation;
11:08 p.m.: breaking and entering, Christopher Drive, a caller reports she found a window screen had been pushed in, the responding officer reports the resident reported nothing to be missing and does not require a full investigation.
