The women of the Huntington Evangelical Church have announced that their next monthly meeting will be one of their most fulfilling of the year. They are collecting toys, school supplies, non-liquid hygiene items, socks, hats, jewelry and such items that will fit into a shoebox. These filled boxes will be delivered to children in need all around the world thanks to the Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s purse. (Food, lotion, vitamins, and glass should not be included.) The meeting where the items will be packed will be held on Tuesday, November 12 at the Chapel on the Green (Rte 20) at 6 pm. Anyone wishing to contribute or attend this meeting is more than welcome.
