12:10 a.m.: assault Elm Street, a caller reports she was assaulted in an Elm Street bar, the responding officer reports he was told that fisticuffs resulted from a petty argument, the caller suffered minor visible injures and was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
4:11 a.m.: accident, Meadow Street, a caller reports a motorist struck a tree outside her residence, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports the operator was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
10:53 a.m.: city ordinance violation, Broad Street, an officer detailed to follow up on unpaid city ordinance violation citations reports an offender who was cited for smoking marijuana at Park Square has not paid the fine so a criminal complaint will be filed;
12:45 p.m.: larceny, Main Street, a caller from a Main Street supermarket reports a shoplifter is in custody, the responding officer reports the woman was served a “No trespassing” order and found to have a revoked driver’s license, the woman was released and said that she would wait for a ride but drove away when the officers left, the woman was stopped on Clinton Avenue, Tracy A. Wheelden, 50, of 16 Old Farm Road, was arrested for shoplifting by asportation and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license;
2:48 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, the manager of an East Main Street office supply store requests an officer to discuss a past larceny, the responding officer reports a regional loss prevention employee for the chain of stores requests assistance with an ongoing series of thefts of toner cartridges;
2:58 p.m.: breaking and entering, Taylor Avenue, a resident called to report that she came home to find a window shattered, the responding officer reports nobody was found inside the residence but electronic devices and other property were found to have been stolen;
3:31 p.m.: animal complaint, Oakcrest Drive, a resident came to the municipal animal shelter to surrender a 4-5 month-old male domestic short haired brown tabby kitten found in his yard;
4:23 p.m.: counterfeiting, East Main Street, a caller from an East Main Street department store requests an officer relative to two women who passed counterfeit $50 bills a couple of days earlier, the responding officer reports a corporate investigator for the chain of stores requests assistance with an ongoing series of incidents in which two women purchased merchandise with $50 bills which are subsequently found to be fraudulent;
6:14 p.m.: larceny, Main Street, a caller reports he observed someone riding the bike he had reported to be stolen and when the youth was confronted he said that he had purchased the bike from a friend and rode away, the responding officer reports he found the bike at a Broad Street address and seized it, a criminal complaint was filed;
11:07 p.m.: disturbance, Sterling Street, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report services were rendered.
