3:23 p.m.: officer wanted, Southwick Road, resident came to the station seeking an officer to discuss a phone call she received, the woman said that she had initially cooperated with a caller who claimed to be conducting an investigation before she realized the caller was trying to get her personal information, the responding officer reports the woman did not suffer a loss;
5:30 p.m.: larceny, Elm Street, a caller reports a bicycle was stolen, the responding officer reports that although the bike was not recovered a suspect was identified and a criminal complaint is pending;
6:17 p.m.: accident, Springfield Road, multiple callers report a four car crash, the responding officer reports five vehicles were involved in an chain reaction-type accident when one car failed to stop and struck a car stopped in front of his vehicle, three persons were transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and four of the five vehicles were towed to the police impound yard, a citation was issued to the operator of the vehicle which initiated the chain reaction.
