12:03 p.m.: fraud, Park Square Townhouses, 140 Union St., a resident came to the station to report he had been scammed, the responding officer reports the victim said that he responded to a promotional text message offering payment for displaying a sticker on his vehicle, the man said he deposited a $2,600 check that was sent to him and subsequently sent the other party a $1,100 Moneygram, the man said that he realized he had been scammed when he was asked to send $550 in gift cards and an attempt was made to withdraw funds from his bank account;
10:51 p.m.: incapacitated person, King Avenue at Washington Street, a person came to the station to report a woman had fallen on the sidewalk, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports the woman had only limited ability to answer questions, the woman was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and subsequently transferred to Baystate Medical Center.
