WESTFIELD- Jordyn Brown, the 28-year-old woman who has been missing since last Saturday, has been found.

Brown was located in New Salem Massachusetts through the efforts of Westfield Police Detective Brian Freeman. Authorities said she is now safe. It is unknown how she got to New Salem or if she received assistance.

Brown originally went missing last Saturday just before noon. She had been last seen at Baystate Noble Hospital wearing a hospital gown, hospital socks, leggings, and a purple sweatshirt that she is believed to have taken from an unlocked car.

The night before she went missing, a fire had started in her home that the Westfield Fire Department believes did $25,000 in damages. The State Fire Marshal’s office said in a statement that they believe the fire was set intentionally and that there is a suspect who has yet to be named. It is known that Brown, as well as her Mother and Step-Father were on the property when the fire started. It is unclear if anybody else was present at the time. Brown’s husband and son were not at the home at the time of the fire.

The initial search for Brown included State Police helicopters and the Westfield Police drone.
