8:01 a.m.: officer wanted, North Elm Street, a caller from a gas station requests an officer because a discharged employee is refusing to leave and creating a disturbance, the responding officer reports the former employee was creating a scene by yelling at her former boss and refusing to leave without a paycheck, Lenaiya A. Reyes, 21, of 98 Putnam Circle, Springfield, was arrested for disorderly conduct;
6:16 p.m.: larceny, Springfield Road, a caller reports her purse was stolen while shopping at a Springfield Road department store, the responding officer reports the woman said that she briefly left her cart unattended and returned to find her purse missing;
10:57 p.m.: arrest, Paulson Drive, West Springfield, pursuant to an ongoing investigation officers sought a suspect at a West Springfield address and found him there, after a courtesy booking at the West Springfield police department, Ramon Dejesus Jr., 31, of 33 King St., Westfield was transported to the Westfield police department and arrested for rape of a child with force and indecent assault and battery on a child younger than 14 year-of-age.
