Omar E. Maldonado, 20, of no fixed address in Springfield, was released on $2,500 personal surety pending a Jan. 4 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of armed robbery and assault with intent to murder brought by Westfield police. Eustacio C. Contreras, 47, of 48 Roanoke Ave., West Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending a Dec. 21 hearing after he was arraigned on a marked lanes violation and a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle brought by Southwick police.
Kwong Nuey, 42, of 4 Carmella Circle, Enfield, Conn., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $600 and his license was suspended for 45 days. A charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was not prosecuted and he was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation.
Clifford J. Forrett Jr., 28, of 32 Crown St., Westfield, submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of larceny of property valued less than $1,200 brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50 and ordered to pay restitution of $125.
Lenaiya A. Reyes, 21, of 98 Putnam Circle, Springfield, was released on her personal recognizance pending a Feb. 8 hearing after she was arraigned on a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police.
