WESTFIELD – Mayor Brian P. Sullivan is pleased to announce that the 25th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 13 at the Westfield Middle School grounds, 30 West Silver Street with the participation from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield and Amelia Park Children’s Museum.
The event will be organized into two different age groups:
Group Ages 1-5 event line up 10:30am
Ages 1-2 will be set to hunt soon after the line up at their designated area
Ages 3-5 will be set to hunt soon after the line up at their designated area
Group Ages 6-10 event line up 11:30am
Ages 6-8 will be set to hunt soon after the line up at their designated area
Ages 9-10 will be set to hunt soon after the line up at their designated area
There will be a maximum of 10 candy filled eggs to be collected by each child in each age group. *Remember to bring a basket for the egg hunt,* Sullivan said.
Prizes will be given to the lucky child who collects the Golden egg in each age division.
There will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny along with some local mascots, as well as music and games for the children to enjoy.
Sullivan thanked the generous contributions from Westfield Gas & Electric, Big Y Foods, Stop & Shop, CVS, Kiwanis Club of Westfield, Mt. Moriah Lodge and the volunteer efforts of many students and the employees of the City of Westfield.

HUNTINGTON – The Huntington Egg Hunt will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Pettis Field for children ages 10 and under. Children will be divided into three groups for the hunt for over 1,000 eggs filled with candy and toys, and must bring their own baskets to fill.
There will be one special egg in each group that will award the lucky finder a special basket filled with prizes. There will also be a visit from the Easter bunny.
The Huntington Egg Hunt is sponsored by the Recreation Committee.
