WESTFIELD – Jessica Lynn Howlett, 34, of Westfield, passed away July 14, 2019, at the Governors Center surrounded by family and friends.
She was born July 3, 1985, in Ware. She leaves behind her mother Eleanor (Noree) Cruess of Blandford, her three children Damon Thomas Bernardi, Connor William Bittlingmeier, and Lilliana Eleanor Bittlingmeier all of Westfield; her two siblings Carrie Cruess and her fiancé Jon Lafreniere of Blandford, Kendra Gregersen and her husband Patrick of Blandford, her fiancé Matthew Bittlingmeier of Westfield, her lifelong friends Monica Bruce of Westfield, Natali Adams of Westfield, and Sara Barnes of Becket, and her grandfather David Cowles of Chester as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandparents Thomas and Eleanor (Mathews) Cruess, Rose-Ellen (St.Jean) Larrabee, and Dorothy (Fountain) DiPietro. The family would like to send Haley McGrath, her oncology RN, and the other members of the D’Amour Cancer Center a special Thank You – You guys Rock!!!!
She graduated as a CNA/CHHA from the American Red Cross with previous education at Westfield Vocational High and Gateway Regional Middle School. She worked as a CNA/CHHA for many years.
Jessica had impacted many people throughout her life in many ways – including her strength and courage while she was battling metastatic breast cancer for three years.
A graveside service will be held Saturday July 27, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the Russell Cemetery located on Old Westfield Rd, Russell, MA followed by a Celebration of Life, Location will be given by her mother and siblings. Memorial donations may be sent to Jessica Howlett’s memorial fund for her children – Checks should be made out to Eleanor Cruess and will be divided up evenly into 3 separate bank accounts for them.
