To the Editor,
Hi folks, as usual I want to give appreciation where deserved…this time to Water Resources, and especially Fran Cain for the work that they did to help our water situation. Their work was so good and set such a great example that they were give national recognition. I do want to also thank Ms. Mello for her work to bring this to the attention of Westfield and to be persistent to stay on it till something was done. This the power of people networking. It takes time and effort to be a responsible and thus effective American citizen. Next Is: Ward 1 Councilor, Babinski for her stalwart efforts to work with the good people of Ward one to push for this important issue directly related to their health and safety, GOOD GOING Mary Ann. Next: A Westfield Police Officer. While driving home from a standout, I hit a curb and got a flat tire. I drove it to a garage, on the way an Officer noticed my situation, and had me pull over, but in that I was at the nearest garage, not only did not give me a hard time, but was polite and courteous; but he gave me a ride home. At that point, knowing the costs, it was so wonderful to have a positive and pleasant officer offer me help. Thank all of you for being such wonderful people!
OK, now that the pleasantries are over on to the not so pleasant: our president. A big part of his problem is that he came from corporate politics, where there are few regulations that an expensive legal team cannot get you out of if there is a regulation that was breached. And, as his son Donald Junior has said, that there are no holds barred in opposition research. As well, having been born into affluence, and never having to do without or suffer a real hardship; it is nearly impossible for them to understand that there is a right and a wrong, and not just do whatever you want. Corporate private sector have few rules and regulations. Staff are to be blindly obedient yes people., for which one is rewarded, and if you conflict blackballed. The Public sector does have rules, and regulations. That enable a government to thrive, and survive conflicts by narrowing the options of what one can do. I am sure that the Pres., is counting on the fact that so few Americans really know about our governing principles that is rah, rah; oh they are picking on me, poor me, speeches easily entice his followers to blindly, or deafly back him. Especially since so many Americans have been kept from being able to participate so as to use our system to help them. Some of these have been the subject of Oligarchs, or just seen a not relevant to a system based upon how much wealth one has, or the size of their network. or many of these this has been the fact of it for over 100 years.
But, this recent efforts to get the Ukraine, and then China to investigate an election competitor has gone well beyond what few regulations that we impose. As well, still denying that Russia has and is interfering in our elections in a divide and conquer tactic. But, for me, even worse, is the betrayal of our Pro-American Syrian Kurdish allies. Kurds helped us to win in Iraq. And, lost 10,000 members helping us against ISIS. He barely responded to Russian Assad Syrian slaughter of their civilians. Now, for whatever reason is allowing Turkey to commit genocide. Does this person have no moral center? After he is using innocent children to make a point, and now this? That is how in ancient Old Word thinking that you got rid of the completion, or just those different than you and in your way. These people have slaughtered each other for millennia and once betrayed, this long memory is retained for as long. This is purely evil.
Most who now me know that I am a positive and gregarious person. I do not anger easily. But, when someone makes my America apart of genocide, enabling a dictator to slaughter people and drive them out of their territory, especially after all they have lost in lives helping us. . this really angers me. It is immoral, and un-American. Not sorry from my contempt. As a person who fully believes in our moral responsibilities as Humans, as people; and by our New World American principles of social justice. Human and Civil Rights are at the foundation of what is America. I cannot do as so many have done, by being as the not so wise 3 monkeys, by putting on blocking their ears to from the crying and suffering that they have allowed, covering their eyes to the hurt harm and destruction they are allowing, and then refusing and having such a lack of courage to say anything. I hope that as said: that worse places in Hell are reserved for those who see a wrong and chose to do nothing. Let me chill, and I will be back soon.
