WESTFIELD- Westfield State University’s Arno Maris Art Gallery in the Ely Campus Center is the host of an art exhibit featuring the works of juniors and seniors from Springfield Public Schools.
The art show began on Jan. 29 and will remain in the gallery until Feb. 8. On opening day, a panel discussion was held in the nearby Ely Blackbox Theater. The panel consisted of Springfield Public School faculty members, Westfield State University Art Department faculty members and students.
The student work on display features a range of art mediums and genres from photography, painting, pencil drawing, and clay sculpting.

The gallery will also play host to the works of artist Amanda Kralovic for one month between Feb. 18 and March 21.
Kralovic’s exhibit is titled, “Manipulation” and will feature her print pieces which depict moving water in various shapes, colors, and patterns.
Kravolic has had her work featured in exhibits across the United States and New Zealand. She has taught art at Middlebury College, SUNY Adirondack, Central Michigan University, and University of Albany. She also holds a Masters in Fine Arts in printmaking from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
The Arno Maris Art Gallery is free and open to the public Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..
