CHICOPEE – Jeff Page, 62, (1957-2020) of Chicopee passed away at home suddenly Saturday April 11, 2020, after a battle with diabetes. Jeff worked at Savage Arms as a test shooter for 42 years, he loved his job and was very proud of his work. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing kayaking, snowmobiling and loved working on his Goshen property. He and his wife loved to travel. Anyone who knew Jeff, knew what a big heart he had and wouldn’t hesitate to help anyone who needed it. He will be sadly missed by many friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. Jeff grew up in Westfield and attended Westfield Trade School.
He leaves his wife Diane and two step daughters, Melanie Stewart and Stacey Elliot, he also leaves his mother Barbara Page, his sister Deborah Dion and brother-in-law Bernie Dion. Additionally, he leaves his nieces Jessica and Melanie Dion and his nephew Jonathan Dion, and three cherished grandchildren, Nathan Stewart, Avery Elliott-Valerio and Adel Elliott-Valerio and their father, John Valerio, who all brought enormous love and joy to his life. He was predeceased by his father Eugene Page and brother Steven. A private burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield.
