BOSTON – Are you upset that the New England Patriots are not participating in the 2020-21 NFL playoffs? Has COVID upended your BINGO nights? Did you miss out on our Beat The Putz Football Challenge? Would you just like to donate some money for a good cause?
You can satisfy each of these cravings, feelings, and what-have-you by just donating $10 by 2 p.m. on Friday.
This Friday night, New England Patriots cheerleaders, Lauren, the team captain and Alexis, a two-year veteran, will host Jimmy Fund’s Bingo Night. The fun, interactive game will be streamed on Facebook Live on the Jimmy Fund’s Facebook page, beginning at 7 p.m.
To participate in the virtual Jimmy Fund Bingo Night, a donation of at least $10 is suggested to receive one Bingo card. Family packages of five Bingo cards are available for purchase for $40. Participants can also sponsor a Jimmy Fund patient to play for $10.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer fun and safe fundraising events for the community to participate in this year,” said Jimmy Fund Vice President Suzanne Fountain. “Cancer affects almost everyone in one way or another, and we are honored to have the support of the New England Patriots cheerleaders in our mission to end cancer.”
The upcoming event will consist of three successive rounds of Bingo. The first participant(s) to get Bingo during each round as determined by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in its sole discretion will receive event prizes.
Confirmation details will be emailed to all participants prior to the start of Friday’s game. Winners of each round will receive prizes, including exclusive Jimmy Fund items. All participants will be entered to win the grand prize.
Anyone unable to make the Friday night’s special Bingo event will still have the opportunity to participate in the 2021 Jimmy Fund Bingo series. Dates will be posted on the Jimmy Fund website as they are confirmed.
