SOUTHWICK-Town Clerk Michelle Hill reminds residents that the deadline to register to vote is April 21 to participate in the May 11 town election and May 18 town meeting.
Voters will be able to cast ballots at the Southwick Senior Center on May 11 from 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
Hill announced the following open positions for the town election as follows:
- Board of Assessors, one position, for three years.
- Cemetery Commission, one position, three years.
- Community Preservation Committee, one position, three years.
- Dickinson School Trustees, one position, three years.
- Board of Health, one position, three years.
- Library Trustees, two positions, each for three years.
- Park and Recreation, two positions, each for three years.
- Planning Board, one position, for five years.
- Selectboard, one position, three years.
- District School Committee, one position, three years.
- Water Commissioner, one position for three years; one position for two years.
