Two games into the 2021 Fall II season, the Southwick girls volleyball team is perfect. The Rams swept the Sabis Bulldogs for the second straight night, posting a 25-17, 25-11, 25-18 victory on the road Wednesday night.
Southwick (2-0) won its opener at home 25-8, 25-13, 25-16 Tuesday evening behind a strong effort from senior Kaitlyn Haseltine, who recorded a game-high 11 aces. On Wednesday, Haseltine again paved the way for a victory, finishing with 10 assists, five kills, three aces and two digs.
Kayla Andrade (5 aces, 1 dig, 2 kills, 10 assists), Gillian Bouque (6 aces, 3 kills, 1 dig), Alexandra Methe (1 ace, 9 digs, 1 kill), Victoria Burkovskiy (5 kills, 1 dig), Aniya Kamara (3 kills, 2 aces, 1 dig), Sarah Cerone (4 kills), Mia Pompi (3 aces, 1 kill, 1 dig), and Alexa Rogers (3 digs) also contributed for Southwick.
Southwick will look to extend its unbeaten streak to 3-0 when the Rams host the South Hadley Tigers Friday night at 6:30.
