WESTFIELD: Irene F. Mientka, 67, passed away peacefully at Palmer Healthcare Center on Tuesday, April 29, 2021. She was a long-time resident of Westfield, MA.
Irene enjoyed going to Dunkin with family and frequented local Restaurant Santorini’s. She was an animal lover and loved feeding the wild birds and squirrels outside her home.
Irene was predeceased by both her parents Edith Tidlund and George Clark, her sister Judy Wells and her long-time partner Thomas Ouimette, Jr. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Paul, and her four children Sherry, Deena, Jolene and Matthew. She also has more than a dozen grandchildren and many other “adopted” children who loved her fiercely. Irene could make anyone smile on their worst day. Her spirit of kindness and generosity will live on through her family and friends. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Irene on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 3 PM in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA 01085.
