WESTFIELD – Jeanne Mae (Vance) Chistolini, 81, died Thursday, July 14, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Baystate Noble Hospital. She was born in Westfield on November 27, 1940, to the late Elroy and Eileen (Bresnahan) Vance. She was a member of the Westfield Woman’s Club for many years. She was also a member of the Gardening Club, The Red Hat Society and a devout member of the United Methodist Church. Jeanne dedicated her life as a volunteer. She spent much of her time volunteering at Noble Hospital, The American Red Cross, and United Methodist Church. She was an Ambassador at the Carson Center, and she was instrumental in the creation of Santa’s Breakfast at Westfield State University. She enjoyed gardening, entertaining, reading and going on vacation with her husband John to various Caribbean islands.
Jeanne leaves her husband John U. Chistolini, of 61 years, her daughters Tammy Carrasquillo and her husband Luis of Naugatuck, CT and Mary Beth Shippole and her husband Mark of Shrewsbury, MA. She also leaves her grandchildren Abbi Emons and her husband Brett, Ashlie Baggetta and her husband Jason and Isabella Shippole; great-grandchildren Santino, Giorgio and Lorenzo Baggetta, Vida and Luca Emons, her sister Elaine Beckman and her husband Charles of Guilford, CT and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at Baystate Noble Hospital for the wonderful care that was given to Jeanne.
