Joanne Marie Robienciezak

WESTFIELD – Joanne Marie (Bullens) Robienciezak, 86, (1939-2025) a lifelong resident of Westfield MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025. Joanne was born in Westfield on September 18th, 1939, to William and Constance Bullens.

She and her husband John Robienciezak were married for sixty-six years and raised their four children in Westfield. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who put her children and grandchildren above everything else. Joanne could always be seen at dance recitals, soccer, softball games, gymnastics competitions and many other activities cheering for her grandchildren.

Joanne attended St. Mary’s Schools and worked for the Stop and Shop grocery chain (beginning with First National and Edward’s grocery stores) for thirty-seven years. She loved trips to Hampton Beach and the Bahamas, as well as making occasional bus trips to Foxwoods or Mohegan. She could always be seen taking long walks around the neighborhood and was always ready at a moment’s notice to pick up one of her grandchildren or to babysit. In her final years Joanne never lost her smile or sense of humor while battling her illness.

Joanne is survived by her husband Jack, daughters Lynn Robienciezak, Patti Conroy and her husband Joe, Sandra O’Neil of Westfield and her son John Robienciezak, Jr. and his wife Anne of Danielson, CT. In addition to her children, Joanne is also survived by her four beloved granddaughters: Megan Dumaine, Sarah O’Neil, Chelsea Conroy, Jillian Durkee and her husband Michael. She is also survived by her sisters Susan Wood and her husband Peter, Kathy Pelland, and brothers Bill Bullens and his wife Judy, Tom Bullens and his wife Lynn, brother-in-law Patrick Bresnahan, sister-in-law Peggy Clark, many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters Barbara Bresnahan, Mary Krutka, brother-in-law Raymond Krutka, brother-in-law Richard Pelland, sister-in-law Terese Marcyoniak, brother-in-law James Marcyoniak and brother-in-law Robert Clark.

The family would like to thank the staff at Agawam Nursing and Rehab in Agawam for the care and compassion they gave to Joanne these last three years. There will be no calling hours at this time, funeral arrangements will be made at a later date with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Westfield. Firtion Adams is in charge of the arrangements.
