3:36 a.m.: disturbance, Ponders Hollow Road, a caller who did not respond to the dispatcher’s questions reports he is being followed by multiple persons who have threatened him, the responding officer reports he encountered two men, one was quiet and cooperative and the other was agitated and attempting to incite the other man to fight with him, the officer reports that repeated attempts to get the agitated man to calm down and discuss the incident were fruitless and when he was advised he was arrested for disorderly conduct the man resisted efforts to take him into custody, the officer reports that he learned that the incident started when two neighbors encountered the agitated man in the company of a female neighbor who wanted the man to leave her home, the witnesses reported that the man took exception when they advised him to leave the area, Francis C. Cressotti, 31, of 7 Cross St., was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, during the booking inventory a prescriptive pill for which the man did not have a prescription was found in his possession and he was also charged with possession of a Class E drug;
6:21 a.m.: breaking and entering, Elizabeth Avenue, a caller reports a parked vehicle has a shattered window, the responding officer reports the victim said that he had left his medication in his vehicle and had thoughtlessly mentioned the fact while he was at a party, the man said that after he realized his indiscretion he called his father to ask him to remove the medication from the vehicle but his father assured him that the property would be safe since the car was locked, the man said when he returned home he found the window shattered and the medicine missing;
9:10 p.m.: found property, Frederick Street, a caller reports she found an unknown power tool on her porch, the responding officer reports a Black and Decker hedge trimmer which does not belong to the resident were found on her porch, the property was transported to the station for safe keeping;
10:48 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a traffic bureau officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the vehicle was towed;
1:33 p.m.: larceny, Dickens Drive, a resident came to the station to report that property was stolen from her home, the responding officer reports the victim said that she recently re-connected with a friend she has known for several years but has not seen recently, she said the man and two of his friends she knows only casually came to visit and were at her residence from about 11 p.m. until 2 a.m., the victim said that she and her female friends fell asleep while her male guests were waiting for a ride, the woman said in the morning she found property including a computer, a camera, a tablet computer and DVDs missing, the woman said she called her friend who denied culpability but said he would try to recover the property, the case was referred to the detective bureau;
3:53 p.m.: fire, Ingersoll Drive, a caller reports residents are burning construction material in the back yard, the responding firefighters report illegal burning was a found, the resident was advised of the complaint and extinguished his fire;
8:44 p.m.: vandalism, Elm Street, caller reports he was passing by a commercial building on Elm Street and noticed the window had been shattered, the responding officer reports a review of security video shows the window was intact at 8:06 p.m. and a group of pedestrians was approaching, the case was referred to the detective bureau.
